I’ve been trying to remember any embarrassing moment at a restaurant that I could have lived, but I don’t really have any. Well, it comes to my mind one night in Salou, in a hotel called..., oh..., I’ve forgotten it.
I was with my mother and sister, and we had already finished the dinner. We were comfortably seated, playing cards and getting a bit bored. And, suddenly, a suntanned man appeared and took a microphone, smiling with a false smile, and showing his false too-white-teeth. He was saying that there was going to be a competition of miss and mister of the hotel. No one wanted to participate, except from a group of people with mental retardation, and two or three boys that hadn’t any better thing to do.
So, the competition started, and the competitors had to pass some stupid proofs. There was a funny boy which had down syndrome, who was friendly and made us laugh, and he won. He was very excited.
And, to give an end to the competition, the false suntanned man ordered the DJ to put some music, and all the old people started to dance, and the group with mental retardation too. And, suddenly one of them came to me and asked me to dance with him. I was very embarrassed, and told him that I was too tired to dance. I know it wasn’t well done for my part, but I’m too shy to dance with an unknown person!
My mom and sister started laughing, and me too. Finally, after watching old women dancing and putting the heart in it, and the old men, making slow jumps and trying to follow their wifes, we went to sleep far from all that noise.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

My favorite movie is… Well, one of my favorites, because I love watching movies, and obviously there are a lot of movies that I consider as favorites; I don't have just one film in my list of the best movies. But now I’d like to talk about Cold mountain. It’s a drama love story, and the leading actors are Nicole Kidman(Ada), Jude Law(Inman) and RenĂ©e Zellweger(Ruby).
The story is located on the American Civil War, and Inman, who lives in a little town called Cold Mountain, has to go to fight there. But before going he meets Ada, and they both fall in love. And, after Inman is gone, and her father dies, Ada finds herself in a farm which she doesn’t know how to maintain. Fortunately, Ruby appears one day, a hard-working woman who just wants food and a place to sleep in, and offers herself to help Ada with the farm. While these girls are watching how in the town the deserters and people who help them are killed and tortured without mercy, Inman is escaping from the war, desperate to be with Ada. After some hard situations they live, they finally meet again, and Ada and Inman marry. But, unfortunately, the cruel people whose work is to kill the deserters finds Inman, and they kill him.
It’s a sad story, but a very good one, in my opinion. I like a lot the love stories, and that’s one of the reasons why I love this film. And I also like the movies that make me cry, because that means that they’re really good, and that’s the case of Cold Mountain.

vodafone commercial
First of all, I'm sorry that the video is in french, but it has subtitles in English; I hope this is enough...
There are really lots of commercials on youtube, and it was hard to me to choose one of them! But finally I've made up my mind, and I've decided to put in my blog this one of vodafone.
The truth is that I've put "commercials" on youtube, and this is the first I've seen. I've found it very funny, and I've add it to my list of possible adverts to put in this blog. And after watching a lot of other commercials, I've come back to the first one, watch it again, and decided that I would put it. It isn't the commercial of the year, but I think it can steal us a laugh.
Well, Just say that I like it because I think that it's funny, and that I hope you'll like it, too!

*some turtles,a cat,dogs and fleas*
I like the animals since I was a child. I was always asking my parents to buy me a dog, or a cat, or even a mouse. I just wanted to have a pet, to be my friend.
I've had two turtles many years ago, but I didn't like them too much because they moved very slowly, and the only thing they used to do was eat and try to get out of the plastic box they lived in. One time one of them got out, and we couldn't find it. After some time we just forgot about the dissapeared turtle. And about 4 weeks later we found it down the sofa, covered with dust. Its little head was inside the hard shell, and so were its legs. No movement seemed to appear on the turtle's body, apparently dead, and the first thing we thought was that it was not going to move any more. Fortunately, after putting it in the water it started to move, and all of us started to laugh, happy that it didn't die. I just couldn't believe that it hadn't died on those 4 weeks, alone, without water or food. I would have died of boredom! Anyway, we decided that the turtles were better in a bigger place, and we leaved them in the park of Torre Luzea, with the fishes. I haven't seen them since that day.
After the turtles come the cat, Mixio. My aunt gave it to me on my birthday, and I was very happy with it. Mixio was really cute; with its grey and white hair, long and always clean, and its blue eyes like the sky. We used to let Mixio go out, and it knew how to get back home. But it used to bring fleas, and we stopped letting the cat go out. But the big problem was that it was male. It wanted to be with female cats, so it had to go out. And Mixio wasn't stupid. It knew how to annoy us. Every night, it used to sat in front of the door, scratching it and making noise until we opened it. And like we did with the poor turtles, we decided that Mixio wasn't good at our home, mostly because we didn't like its attitude, and either the fleas. So we gave it to another family, even if I loved Mixio and I was very unhappy that it had to go, I had to say goodbye. Again.
And...my pets's story doesn't end here. After the turtles and Mixio, we met Mara, the little dog puppy that our cousins gave us. It was all black, with white hair in the breast. It was just beautiful. And it was very friendly with all the people. It had to salute all the people it saw in the street. And that had been its bane. One day, Mara saw a woman in the other side of the pavement, and it just went to greet her. But a car was coming fast, and the man in it didn't see the little dog. It died in the moment when the vehicle hit its little body. So, Mara leaved us in that act of friendlyness, being only a puppy of 4 months and a half, in that road in front of my house. We cried a lot that night, because all the family loved Mara.
But not all my pets
have finished out of my home, or unfortunately died. After the turtles, Mixio and the lovely Mara, our home opened the doors to Luka, a puddle called "toy" because of its small size. Luka is black too, and she has curled hair. The first day she came home she was that little that she looked like a black rat. But don't think she's as horrible as a rat; she's very pretty! But I also have to admit that she's a bit grumpy, because she barks to lots of people on the street, and she gives them a fright many times. Then they see that it's the small black rat, and they just keep walking...
