*some turtles,a cat,dogs and fleas*

I like the animals since I was a child. I was always asking my parents to buy me a dog, or a cat, or even a mouse. I just wanted to have a pet, to be my friend.

I've had two turtles many years ago, but I didn't like them too much because they moved very slowly, and the only thing they used to do was eat and try to get out of the plastic box they lived in. One time one of them got out, and we couldn't find it. After some time we just forgot about the dissapeared turtle. And about 4 weeks later we found it down the sofa, covered with dust. Its little head was inside the hard shell, and so were its legs. No movement seemed to appear on the turtle's body, apparently dead, and the first thing we thought was that it was not going to move any more. Fortunately, after putting it in the water it started to move, and all of us started to laugh, happy that it didn't die. I just couldn't believe that it hadn't died on those 4 weeks, alone, without water or food. I would have died of boredom! Anyway, we decided that the turtles were better in a bigger place, and we leaved them in the park of Torre Luzea, with the fishes. I haven't seen them since that day.

After the turtles come the cat, Mixio. My aunt gave it to me on my birthday, and I was very happy with it. Mixio was really cute; with its grey and white hair, long and always clean, and its blue eyes like the sky. We used to let Mixio go out, and it knew how to get back home. But it used to bring fleas, and we stopped letting the cat go out. But the big problem was that it was male. It wanted to be with female cats, so it had to go out. And Mixio wasn't stupid. It knew how to annoy us. Every night, it used to sat in front of the door, scratching it and making noise until we opened it. And like we did with the poor turtles, we decided that Mixio wasn't good at our home, mostly because we didn't like its attitude, and either the fleas. So we gave it to another family, even if I loved Mixio and I was very unhappy that it had to go, I had to say goodbye. Again.

And...my pets's story doesn't end here. After the turtles and Mixio, we met Mara, the little dog puppy that our cousins gave us. It was all black, with white hair in the breast. It was just beautiful. And it was very friendly with all the people. It had to salute all the people it saw in the street. And that had been its bane. One day, Mara saw a woman in the other side of the pavement, and it just went to greet her. But a car was coming fast, and the man in it didn't see the little dog. It died in the moment when the vehicle hit its little body. So, Mara leaved us in that act of friendlyness, being only a puppy of 4 months and a half, in that road in front of my house. We cried a lot that night, because all the family loved Mara.

But not all my pets
have finished out of my home, or unfortunately died. After the turtles, Mixio and the lovely Mara, our home opened the doors to Luka, a puddle called "toy" because of its small size. Luka is black too, and she has curled hair. The first day she came home she was that little that she looked like a black rat. But don't think she's as horrible as a rat; she's very pretty! But I also have to admit that she's a bit grumpy, because she barks to lots of people on the street, and she gives them a fright many times. Then they see that it's the small black rat, and they just keep walking...
